
On Saturday, February 15, Nacional Gasolinero revealed the prices of fuels in Mexico. The average cost of Magna gasoline is 24.27 pesos per liter, Premium stands at 25.73 pesos per liter, and Diesel reaches 26.16 pesos per liter.
Regarding the most economical prices in the country that day, the cheapest gasoline was found in León (Guanajuato) at 22.49 pesos per liter, followed by Chilpancingo (Guerrero) at 25.15 pesos per liter, Veracruz (Veracruz) at 21.99 pesos per liter, Othón P. Blanco (Quintana Roo) at 23.69 pesos per liter, Juárez (Chihuahua) at 17.99 pesos per liter, Ciudad Victoria (Tamaulipas) at 23.14 pesos per liter, and Chihuahua (Chihuahua) at 22.48 pesos per liter.
In Mexico City, the average prices were 24.34 pesos per liter for Magna gasoline, 26.03 pesos per liter for Premium, and 25.85 pesos per liter for Diesel. The most affordable gas station was located at Miguel Lebrija Venustiano Carranza 15670 at 22.49 pesos per liter, while the most expensive was located in Gustavo A. Madero on Avenida 3-a no. 142 at 27.09 pesos per liter.
The Federal Consumer Protection Agency (Profeco) reminded consumers that they could report gas stations that sold fuel at prices exceeding those set by the Energy Regulatory Commission (CRE). To file a complaint, one could access the Profeco website or call the number 55 55 68 87 22. Despite the drop in international oil prices, the price of gasoline in Mexico remained high, although it could not exceed certain limits.
